Guide Rates - Policies

Tackle Needs: JJ Guideservice encourages all anglers to bring their own tackle, but we do maintain some rods / reels for clients' use at no charge. These are all Abu Garcia reels and Berkley, Abu Garcia or Fenwick rods. All reels are spooled with fresh Berkley Trilene Big Game line.

Rates: $350 for a full day which includes oil & fuel.
When schedule permits, we also offer half-day trips for $250 with deposit of $125.
These rates are for one or two people.

Sightseeing / Photography: $200   Because of the ever increasing interest in birds, waterfowl, game and other wildlife that are so abundant on and around Toledo Bend, we are offering sight seeing tours to our services. We can accommodate up to three guests per tour and for the summer months are offering morning tours Tuesday through Fridays. Tours are 2-3 hours in length and will focus on the lower one-third of Toledo Bend. Our eagle sightings each trip are close to 100%. Rates are $200 per group for 1, 2 or 3 guests. We provide bottle water and snacks. All you need is your camera.

Gift Certificates: available for Birthdays, Christmas, or any special occasion (or no occasion!) for all fishing trips & sightseeing tours. Certificates are good for 12 months from the date the gift is given.

Deposit: A deposit of 50% is due when booking

Cancellation: The deposit is non-refundable if client has to cancel - but 6-months is given to reschedule before deposit is lost.

If Joe Joslin Outdoors has to cancel for any reason (other than weather), the deposit is fully refunded. Weather related cancellations are rescheduled.

Method of Payment: Method of payment for deposit is by personal / business check or money order, with the balance paid by personal check or cash.

Confirmation: When booking is finalized, client will be mailed / faxed/e-mailed directions to meeting place.

PLEASE NOTE: Insurance coverage does not permit alcoholic beverages to be consumed on board vessel by neither guide nor clients.
